Ride mode times every run on its own: the clock starts when you roll out of the start and stops at the finish, with splits at each marked spot. Leave Ride mode on between laps and it re-arms when you're back at the start. Times stay on this phone.

Getting there

Park at Lee Canyon base area lot

6725 Lee Canyon Rd (end of NV-156), Las Vegas, NV 89124

  • Main resort lot just above the base lodge. The resort site lists no parking fee for summer, but confirm before you go. No cell service on the drive up, so save directions first.
  • Start and finish are the same spot. Follow the cue sheet and the arrows on the map.

Know before you go

  • Lift-served only: ride the Bluebird chair up and pedal nothing but the descent. A bike park lift ticket is required; buy it online at leecanyonlv.com, where prices vary by day (a 2026 Review-Journal report put the starting price at $15, and online tickets include a $10 resort credit).
  • 2026 schedule: open daily through Oct 18, then bonus weekends Fri to Mon, Oct 23 to 26 and Oct 30 to Nov 2. Lift hours run roughly 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays and later on weekends; check the resort schedule page the day you go.
  • This is the resort's black trail, signed Snake Eyes. It is only about a mile long, so plan on several laps.
  • Advanced riders only. Warm up on the blue first, and expect the steepest grades in the park with little run-out.
  • Every trail in the bike park is downhill only. Riding or hiking up the bike trails is not allowed, helmets and closed-toe shoes are required, and e-bikes are banned on the singletrack. A full-face helmet and pads are strongly recommended and come with a rental bike.
  • The double-black freeride line (Hard Eight on the 2026 map) branches off this trail lower down but is not in OpenStreetMap, so this route does not include it.

Ride smart

  • Water: plan on about 0.5 L for this ride. There's none on the trail.
  • Signal is spotty. Tell someone your route and your time back.
  • Emergency: call 911 and say "Snake Eyes ride, parked at Lee Canyon base area lot, Lee Canyon Bike Park", plus the coordinates from Locate me.
  • Wildlife: give horses, burros and anything with horns room, and never feed them.
  • Stay on trail. Desert crust and mountain soil take decades to heal.
