Pyramid Scheme
Raven Roll north to the Big Chief loop and its overlook, then Great Pyramid's slickrock back south.
Your timesno timed runs yet
Ride mode times every run on its own: the clock starts when you roll out of the start and stops at the finish, with splits at each marked spot. Leave Ride mode on between laps and it re-arms when you're back at the start. Times stay on this phone.

Know before you go
- The park rates Big Chief the hardest trail on this side of the system, and recent washouts have made parts of the Big Chief loop rougher than the park map shows.
- Great Pyramid is ridden southbound here, the way the park suggests, for the downhill slickrock.
- Dismount where the trail crosses the park road (park rule). Dogs must be leashed.
- Trails are primitive and lightly marked; basic route-finding helps. Check the park's Current Conditions page before you go.
Ride smart
- Water: plan on about 1 L for this ride. There's none on the trail.
- Signal is spotty. Tell someone your route and your time back.
- Emergency: call 911 and say "Pyramid Scheme ride, parked at Intrepid Trail System Trailhead, Moab, Utah", plus the coordinates from Locate me.
- Wildlife: give horses, burros and anything with horns room, and never feed them.
- Stay on trail. Desert crust and mountain soil take decades to heal.
