Guac Run
Margarita out across the slickrock, the Guacamole loop counterclockwise, and Margarita home.
Your timesno timed runs yet
Ride mode times every run on its own: the clock starts when you roll out of the start and stops at the finish, with splits at each marked spot. Leave Ride mode on between laps and it re-arms when you're back at the start. Times stay on this phone.

Getting there
Park at Guacamole Mesa Trailhead (BLM)
Top of Dalton Wash Rd: from UT-9 just east of Virgin, UT go north 1.7 mi, keep left at the fork, then 2.4 mi up onto the mesa
- BLM recommends high-clearance 4WD for the steep final climb onto the mesa. In wet weather park at the lower fork and ride up.
- Start and finish are the same spot. Follow the cue sheet and the arrows on the map.

Know before you go
- Slickrock and juniper singletrack with constant small ups and downs; little total climbing but plenty of technical moves.
- Watch for cairns and painted dots across the open rock; the line is easy to lose.
- Several unofficial spurs branch off (the West Cliffs and South singletrack). Stay on the signed trail.
- Holy Guacamole and Lime with a Twist were left off on purpose because I could not confirm they are BLM-authorized.
Ride smart
- Water: plan on about 1 L for this ride. There's none on the trail.
- Signal is spotty. Tell someone your route and your time back.
- Emergency: call 911 and say "Guac Run ride, parked at Guacamole Mesa Trailhead (BLM), Hurricane, Utah", plus the coordinates from Locate me.
- Wildlife: give horses, burros and anything with horns room, and never feed them.
- Stay on trail. Desert crust and mountain soil take decades to heal.
