Your timesno timed runs yet
Ride mode times every run on its own: the clock starts when you roll out of the start and stops at the finish, with splits at each marked spot. Leave Ride mode on between laps and it re-arms when you're back at the start. Times stay on this phone.

Know before you go
- As of Oct 8, 2026, Trailforks showed a significant issue reported on Lower Showgirl. Check current conditions before you go.
- Downhill first: about 1,600 ft of twisty Showgirl singletrack from the pines toward the high desert, then about 1.7 mi of steady dirt road climbing on Telephone Canyon Road (FR 45530), which is open to cars.
- The Equestrian Switchback climb back up to Showgirl has a short pitch near 20 percent, so expect to walk a bit. You then repeat Showgirl and Upper Showgirl (1.9 mi) uphill to the car.
- Showgirl has some exposed, rockier sections around mile 4, and the elevation data shows one very steep drop there. Ride within yourself.
- Season is roughly May through November at 6,500 to 8,200 ft. Skip Robber's Roost, the North Loop and the Wildhorse trails nearby: they are hiker-only or wilderness.
Ride smart
- Water: plan on about 1.5 L for this ride. There's none on the trail.
- Signal is spotty. Tell someone your route and your time back.
- Emergency: call 911 and say "Curtain Call ride, parked at Juniper Trailhead, Mt Charleston Trails", plus the coordinates from Locate me.
- Wildlife: give horses, burros and anything with horns room, and never feed them.
- Stay on trail. Desert crust and mountain soil take decades to heal.
