Ride mode times every run on its own: the clock starts when you roll out of the start and stops at the finish, with splits at each marked spot. Leave Ride mode on between laps and it re-arms when you're back at the start. Times stay on this phone.

Know before you go
- About half a mile of neighborhood streets gets you from the park to the dirt. The rest is singletrack and a few short dirt-road links.
- The Circus climbs gently on the way out. Triple T is downhill-only per Trailforks (checked Oct 8, 2026), and this loop rides a short piece of it that way.
- No signs anywhere. Load the GPX before you leave the car, because the network is a bowl of spaghetti.
- Zero shade and no water. From May to September, go at sunrise or don't go.
- Skips Happy Ending on purpose: Trailforks (checked Oct 8, 2026) lists it as downhill-only and double black.
Ride smart
- Water: plan on about 2 L for this ride. There's none on the trail.
- Signal is spotty. Tell someone your route and your time back.
- Emergency: call 911 and say "Big Top ride, parked at Mesa Park, West Summerlin / Bear's Best", plus the coordinates from Locate me.
- Wildlife: give horses, burros and anything with horns room, and never feed them.
- Stay on trail. Desert crust and mountain soil take decades to heal.
